Student lesson this week...
Thank you for delivering your mini lessons this week on the key themes in the text. It has been noted that some of you went into great detail and depth when planning your lessons.
Sam Ellis is teacher of the week this week for the quality and variety of activities within his lesson. It was well paced and delivered confidently. – Well done Sam.
The challenge is now on for the second group delivering their lessons next week!!

Bosola and the Cardinal
Cover for A213A (Carl's group) for Friday morning's double:
You are to compare the two main encounters of Bosola and the Cardinal. You need to Review Act 1 Sc 1 27 – 65, the first short interaction between the two characters.
What is the main difference between the tone of the encounters?
Who holds the upper hand in each?
Both are men who hold double lives. How do they wear this mantle?Referring the Act 5 Sc2, respond to the following statement: the Cardinal’s ennui is the ennui of everyone who runs out of steam living two lives or living by double standards? How far do you agree with this statement?

Othello...
Please ensure you are up to date with all your Othello essays, I still have some outstanding and need to get them marked by the end of the week. We need to track your progress in preparation for the exam.
Secondly as this is a closed book exam, I will be banning the use of Othello texts for essay practice after Easter, so you WILL need to re-read the text over the holidays and become familiar with key quotes.
Thanks
Mrs Gibbons
